Mechanical Parts

Mechanical parts can be applied to different traits - for example they can be combined with wings for different looks.

Standard Parts

Standard parts encompass basic mechanics, such as ovens and lamps. Any technology pre-1960s is considered Standard !
Additionally, yeens only consisting of fur and metal are considered to have standard parts.
Below are some examples of the Standard Parts trait. Note that so long as the parts of your yeen fit the above description, they do not need to specifically be one of the examples below !

Tech Parts

Tech parts encompass any modern day technology - anything based on computers, stereos, modern cars and the like falls under this umbrella.

Cyberspace Parts

Cyberspace parts encompass futuristic, cyberpunk style technology.

Elemental parts can hardly be considered mechanical at all. They are based more heavily in the natural world than the man-made.

The year is 6492, and the remnants of Humanity reside on a new planet in the far reaches of the Cosmos.In present day, Mechayeens live in harmony. While some choose to upgrade their technology as time goes on, others prefer to remain as they are. Mechayeens have a house system, named after the seven original Subspecies of Mechayeens. Houses are assigned by choice, for whichever theme a Yeen feels drawn to.

Life Cycle
Mechayeens can be created in a myriad of ways. Many simply show up one day upon being needed to aid Humanity. It is unknown what plane of existence they come from, but it is surely one beyond our own.
Mechayeens are more or less immortal beings. They can choose to aid multiple humans or retire. The most common purpose of Mechayeens can be compared to that of a care worker or service animal, though some prefer more hands on jobs such as construction work. Mechayeens are pacifist creatures that do not injure humans or each other. They do not need to eat in order to survive, and can gain additional energy through batteries or other sources of power.
While Mechayeens are immortal, they can be injured, sometimes beyond repair. Mechayeens have been known to patch up themselves and each other with new technology, though some prefer not to.
Many Mechayeens are equipped with a translation device, allowing them to communicate with humans. Most Mechayeens are able to breathe in outer space, and some are even capable of travelling to distant galaxies to aid other lifeforms. However, Mechayeens must try their best to avoid water, which can severely damage their mechanical parts. This rule is null if a Yeen sees a lifeform in peril.

- Traces of Mechayeens are rare.
- They do not often come to the surface, and primarily exist within what we believe is a secret underground city.
- We believe that Mechayeens are able to speak among themselves and other animals, but not to humans.DATA LOG : 24.03.6295
LOG SUMMARY :
The underground city has been located. Its location cannot be written down or revealed outside our select group of researchers. Here is a summary of our findings.
- The city has existed since the dawn of our world and survived major extinction events.
- We still have no knowledge of where Mechayeens originate from.
- Small groups of Mechayeens left the cave sometime around 2638, but returned quickly after. A slightly larger group left the cave during the early 6000s. We do not know if the recently sighted surface Yeens are at all correlated with this.DATA LOG: 04.08.6316

Final log
In the year 6316, our researchers have gained the ability to glimpse into the future to see the path of humanity. Thankfully, the future is bright.I wonder if these creatures are from another plane of existence altogether.
